Fausto P. García Márquez obtained his European Doctorate in 2004 at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM, Spain) with a maximum distinction. His thesis was focused on the design and development of new mathematical methods for predictive analytics. The work arose through a research project at Sheffield University (UK). He has distinguee with the Advancement Prize (2013) and Silver Prize (2012) by the International Society of Management Science and Engineering Management, or the Advancement Prize in the Third International Conference on Management Science and Engineering Management. He continues now working at UCLM as Senior Lecturer part time (with tenure, Acredited as Full Professor), Spain, and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Birmingham University, United Kingdom, and Senior Manager in Accenture.
