Asadollah Shahbahrami received the B.S. degree in computer engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology in 1993, and the M.Sc degree in computer engineering and machine intelligence from Shiraz University, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science, Delft University of Technology, in September 2008. He has a full professor position with the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran. He was as a visiting professor for his sabbatical in Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Science and Engineering, at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands from 2021 to 2023. His research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, IoT, Embedded systems, machine vision, multimedia processing, information retrieval, parallel processing, and parallel programming.
