Massoud Zolgharni is an Associate Professor in Computer Science in College of Science, University of Lincoln. He is also an Honorary Research Associate in the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He holds the Higher Education Academy Associate Fellowship. Massoud received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, and completed his Master and PhD studies at Brunel and Swansea Universities, UK. His research interests lie in the area of Biomedical Engineering, in general, and Medical Imaging, in particular. He serves as a reviewer for major journals in physics, engineering, and cardiology. In recent years, he has focused on developing automated techniques for low-cost and non-invasive diagnostic imaging applications.
