Yazhou Zhang is an Associate Professor at Tianjin University. He has been recognized as a Stanford University World’s Top 2% Scientist and selected for the National Overseas Postdoctoral Talent Program of China. His research focuses on multimodal sarcasm detection, quantum-inspired sentiment analysis, and affective reasoning, with sustained contributions to affective computing and multimodal intelligence. He has published over 60 high-quality research papers, including 20+ IEEE/ACM Transactions papers as first or corresponding author in the past five years, and his work has received a Best Paper Nomination at PRCV 2025.
